We are looking for a nice, relaxing getaway for not a pile of cash. Checking out Santee Lakes in the Lake Marion area of SC. Looks like Clark's Inn and Restaurant has some pretty good fishing and golf packages there. They also have suites and a day spa. Our friend has been to Lake Marion South Carolina and say it is a true paradise.
Here's a picture they sent from their last trip. Looks spectacular there. They stayed at Clarks Inn too.
I couldn't find them under Clarks Inn.com but when I looked up Santee motel I found them there under a longer address. Looks pretty nice.
